dirty. my shower continually dripped excessively. management said it would be corrected, but it never was. 5 days of loud noise is too much. we had crawling bugs(i think cockroaches) in the room.

Woman at the front desk was very courteous and helped me change rooms. Promptly. The hotel overall was horrible, but at least the staff did what they could to make a bad situation better.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. Its in a very nice section of Wilmington, with a lot of nice shopping centers and restaurants all around. But the second you pull up to the hotel the scenery takes a nasty turn. There were abandoned shopping carts in the hotel parking lot. To get into the front desk you need to be buzzed in. When I checked in I had to immediately leave for a meeting so I could only give me room a brief look over. It was dated and run down. The lamp shades were stained, and the bathroom was very run down. When I returned I gave the room a more careful once over, as I always like to check for bed bugs. When I pulled off the sheets the mattress pads on the bed were covered in human hair. The worst part was the carpet. I checked around the baseboards and realized there were little larval worms all around the entire room. When I complained I was moved into a different room without issue. The other side of the hotel had been renovated, and this room was definitely better. However, I was so grossed out by the first room, it was hard to get comfortable. The rooms are very un-soundproof. I could hear people coming and going all night long. As a single woman I felt very uncomfortable staying in this hotel (and I live in downtown Baltimore, I'm not easily scared) and was really worried about my car. How this place is rated as 3 stars is beyond me. Unfortunately I went off the 3 start rating and did not look at the other reviews carefully. This rating is extremely misleading. In this price range there have to be other places halfway to decent to stay.

As a senior citizen that book my stay in August, I would think that they would place us in a 1st floor room. Those stairs are not good for loldre people.

The room was very neat and clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable, I think I may have gotten some of the best rest in my life. The staff was quiet, helpful, and friendly.
We were on the bottom floor and could hear most of the movement from those in the room above us. No mirror in the actual bathroom, only right outside of it. Not good if you are with more than one person and need privacy w/ the mirror.

The first room we were assigned had a strong disinfectant smell coming out of the air cond/heater. Someone has poured some kind of oil into it. We were upgraded to the business room at no additional charge. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom fan made noise. Seems the hotel maintenance should have taken care of these obvious items.
